Electronic musical duo peaceFIRE, hailing from Tokyo and Los Angeles, present Harmonizer, an explosion of Italo disco, Japanese synth-pop and house, fluidly crossing the boundaries of musical genre and style. Kicking off with the synth-pop anthem Hot Glitter, the theme of the album is centered upon the inner relationship between the spiritual and corporeal; the harmony of light and dark, intervals of consonance and dissonance.

From bombastic pop tracks to epic synth instrumentals, the hybrid nature of peaceFIRE comes through not only in the musical expression of the songs but also authentically manifests from the background of the artists themselves. Comprising of Elliott Fiedler (programming and keyboards), originally from the US and based in Tokyo, and Mayumi Kaneyuki (lead vocals and keyboards), born in Japan and hailing from Los Angeles, the cross-cultural duo of peaceFIRE have come to make a statement with Harmonizer on the possibilities of the future of electronic music.

Having first made waves in 2009 with the 11-minute epic Sapphire in 2009, self-releasing a two-track EP digitally and on vinyl, followed with remixes for acts such as Division Kent (If Then Records) and Tatana (Universal Music).

peaceFIRE would later join the Los Angeles-based imprint Sunlinxx Records in 2013, releasing the melodic disco single Death By English and a second EP release entitled Mystic Body, featured in DJ mixes and receiving praise from such acts as ANORAAK (Allo Floride) and MITCH MURDER (Mad Decent).
